Lynn is a former Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General where she served as chief of both the Education Section and Court of Claims Defense Section. Prior to her service in the Attorney General's office she was in private practice in the Dayton area where she concentrated in civil litigation. As part of her duties as an Assistant Attorney General, she presented the state's oral arguments in DeRolph III, the Ohio school funding case, and served as litigation co-counsel on the defense in federal district court of the state's school voucher program.
Prior to joining Ohio State, she served as Executive Director of the Ohio School Facilities Commission for 2 1/2 years. The Commission is a state agency devoted to building and renovating K-12 schools through out Ohio.
