Doing Business With The University
The Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) provides support to the colleges, departments and units of the University doing business with third parties outside the University community, by reviewing and drafting any appropriate agreements and assisting in negotiations as requested. OLA is not the appropriate entry point or initial contact point for businesses or individuals wishing to do business with the university.

The office for Technology Licensing and Commercialization handles agreements relating to the licensing of University intellectual property (other than trademarks), as well as Material Transfer Agreements ("MTA") and Confidentiality Agreements.

The University Purchasing Department is responsible for coordinating the purchase of goods and services by the University. Competitive bidding procedures apply to the purchase of goods greater than $25,000 and services greater than $50,000
