Angie Blevins Senior Paralegal

Angie S. Blevins is a Senior Paralegal who is a nationally Registered Paralegal and an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Paralegal who provides litigation support to the Wexner Medical Center. She is also a Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management.  Angie’s focus is on defense of professional liability claims, personal injury claims, premises liability claims, and employment claims. Angie earned her Vocational/Practical Nursing Certificate from Temple Junior College and her Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Central Texas College. She works closely with counsel from The Ohio Attorney General's Office as well as special counsel. Angie actively participates in various forums to educate Medical Center nursing staff regarding the current trends in medical malpractice litigation. She worked for seven years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in various acute care hospital settings while working to obtain her A.A.S. Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs, Angie was employed as a litigation paralegal in a private law firm specializing in insurance defense law. She is a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, Ohio Society of Health Care Risk Managers, and associate member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
