Lisa Conomy Associate General Counsel, Construction Counsel

Lisa is responsible for providing legal advice to the University on all aspects of construction. She is the University's key advisor for construction reform projects, including the $370 Million North District Residential Project and the University Medical Center's $1 Billion expansion project. Lisa manages University litigation relating to disputes involving construction contractors and design professionals and is a member of executive groups overseeing the University's largest projects. She served as a member of the State Working Group responsible for drafting Ohio's Construction Reform legislation, rules and contract documents.

Lisa joined the University after serving as a member of the Attorney General's Construction Litigation Group, where she represented institutions of higher education in multi-million-dollar construction litigation throughout the state. She has also been in private practice where her focal projects included the construction of new city schools and construction of a state-of-the art municipal water treatment plant. Lisa served for 12 years as Chief Legal Counsel for the Ohio Department of Transportation.
