Elizabeth Trende Associate General Counsel
Emy Trende brings more than a decade of experience assisting healthcare clients in navigating changing landscape of health reform. She focuses her practice on strategic initiatives and innovative design of provider alignment models, including clinically integrated networks and accountable care organizations; healthcare transactions; compensation design; compliance with federal and state fraud and abuse laws; Medicare reimbursement rules and accreditation standards; governance; and preparation of compliance plans, policies, and procedures issues. Emy has been named a “Rising Star” in the practice of health law by SuperLawyers Magazine every year since 2014. She was also named one of Columbus’ “Top 40 Under 40” by Columbus Business First in 2015.
Emy was a lead chapter author for The ACO Handbook, 2nd Edition, published by the American Health Lawyers Association. She is a frequent speaker for provider compliance and transactional seminars. Prior to joining the Medical Center, Emy worked in private practice.
