Lauri Andrews joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2013 and currently directs and manages the University Self Insurance Program (USIP), which provides professional liability coverage for the Wexner Medical Center hospitals, physicians, and clinical staff. She also oversees the Medical Center’s off-shore captive insurance company and works closely with actuaries, insurance brokers, and reinsurance markets. 

Lauri brings more than 40 years of insurance industry experience, including leadership roles in underwriting and brokerage. Prior to OSU, she served as Senior Vice President at Aon Risk Solutions, specializing in medical malpractice programs for health care organizations and providers.
