Mark advises university departments and units on immigration matters and handles a range of immigration filings submitted by the university on behalf of international faculty and staff.  He manages the university-sponsored permanent residence process, and works on a variety of non-immigrant petitions.  Mark also advises units concerning employment authorization and I-9 compliance matters.  In addition to providing assistance with immigration matters, Mark works with the Office of International Affairs on issues surrounding international agreements and with the Office of Research on questions concerning export controls and international sanctions regimes.  Mark is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Washington, D.C.  Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs in 2008, Mark was in private practice for 16 years.
