Emily joined the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) in March 2020. She primarily advises the Wexner Medical Center, James Cancer Hospital and health science colleges on complex contracting, affiliations, partnerships and business-related matters. Before joining Ohio State, Emily served as Senior Legal Counsel at the Ohio Department of Medicaid where she supervised staff in the Office of Contracts and Procurement. Her prior experience includes roles as Senior Staff Attorney at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and as Assistant Legal Counsel at the Ohio Department of Transportation. Earlier in her career, Emily completed a year of national service as an AmeriCorps*VISTA member prior to attending law school.
