Rachel advises and counsels the University regarding employee benefit issues, including Ohio State’s retirement plans and health plan. She also advises on individual tax, compensation, executive compensation, family benefits, incentive plan, tuition benefits, cafeteria plan, and payroll matters. Prior to joining Ohio State, Rachel was a partner at a boutique employee benefits law firm where she represented Taft-Hartley multiemployer health and pension funds in a wide variety of matters. Rachel is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served as a missile combat crew commander and instructor in Minot, North Dakota.
