Kyong W. N. Wahl, JD, LLM

Senior Associate General Counsel

Kyong Wahl joined the Office of Legal Affairs in June 2013. Her current areas of responsibility include: affinity transactions, business transactions and entity wide projects. Before joining the University’s Office of Legal Affairs, Kyong served as the U.S. Corporate and Securities Counsel for a NYSE and TSX listed public company. Previously, she was also in private practice at the law firms of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Columbus, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in New York City and Torys LLP in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. At those firms, she represented public and private companies as well as venture capital and start-up clients involved in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and capital raising transactions, including private placements, initial public offerings and underwritten offerings of debt and equity securities. She also advised clients regarding corporate and business organization and restructuring of matters and transactions, compliance with corporate and securities laws and regulations as well as compliance with rules and regulations of various stock exchanges.
