Michelle serves as Associate General Counsel in the Office of Legal Affairs for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and has done so since August 2022. In this role, Michelle provides legal advice and services to the Wexner Medical Center and other departments and colleges within the university on a broad range of business and transactional matters, including contract drafting and review. She spends most of her time assisting with strategic planning efforts for the Wexner Medical Center Supply Chain, including advice and guidance related to policy review, workflow and systems review, and requests for purchase, and the Pharmacy Department, on general operations and 340B and other regulatory matters. Prior to joining The Ohio State University, Michelle served in various legal roles in state government, most recently as Senior Legal Counsel at the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy, working on traditional pharmacy and medical marijuana matters, and before that, as Deputy General Counsel at the Ohio Casino Control Commission.
