Lamine Hendrix joined OLA in September 2025. He currently support the university’s research initiatives, including advising university departments and units on compliance of all research activities with federal and state law; providing legal support on agreements with government and commercial research sponsors, as well as collaborative research agreements with other universities; providing assistance with federal audits, investigations, and information requests; advising relevant university units on proper animal care and use in research activities; and working with the Office of Research Integrity and Investigations on questions concerning research misconduct.
Prior to joining OLA, Lamine was an Attorney with the United States Office of Special Counsel (OSC) where he led investigations of complaints of prohibited personnel practices against federal agency officials, including allegations of whistleblower retaliation and hiring actions prohibited under 5 U.S.C. section 2302(b). Lamine also worked in the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice supporting the investigation and litigation of complex civil enforcement cases involving allegations of fraud against federal government programs.
