Stephanie joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2020 as a part of the Student Life and Academic Affairs practice group. Stephanie works closely with college administrators on student centric issues including policy enforcement, and crisis management and risk mitigation.  She also provides advice to Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, the Committee for Academic Misconduct (COAM), the University Community Enrollment Review Committee (UCERC) as well as other campus regulatory processes.  She advises on academic affiliation agreements and liability documentation, public records requests, and litigation. She also provides advice regarding campus wide youth and minor programming and advises 4-H on statewide operations. 

Prior to joining OSU, Stephanie was an Associate Assistant Attorney General in the Education section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office where she represented the two- and four-year public colleges and universities in Ohio along with the Ohio Department of Education.  Before that, Stephanie was an Associate Director of Enforcement where she worked as an investigator for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
